Juneau Street Resilience Pod holds four community events each year. These events are an opportunity for neighbors to get together to socialize, learn, support one another, and continue growing our pod.

Summer Block Party
When: July/August
About: Our Summer Block Party is a time for us to come together to enjoy the warm season as well as skill-up on emergency and climate preparedness. Our block party features music, food, games, zine-making, and more.
Fall Harvest
When: Sept/Oct
About: After a fruitful growing season, we all get together to celebrate — and collect! — what we have grown. Our Fall Harvest features a pet costume contest, a pumpkin patch, zine-making, a cultural potluck, tea time, and more.
Winter Gathering
When: January
About: Near the start of the new year, we come together to reconnect, review the past year of the pod, and start creating plans for the coming seasons. Our winter gathering features a dinner, family-friend activities, zine-making, and a social hour.
Spring Planting
When: April/May
About: When the frost season has passed and the ground is warm and workable again, we kick off the growing season with our Spring Planting event. It features emergency preparedness materials and activities — such as coloring pages, seeds, and workshops — as well as tending to the land, food, and socializing.
