Our Juneau Street Resilience Pod Supply Library is a collection of shared supplies and equipment that can be borrowed for free by any neighbor. Certain items can be pretty expensive (and we don’t end up using them that often!) Our Supply Library is a way for our neighborhood to combine resources, prevent waste, and save money.
Location
Our Supply Library is located at the intersection of Juneau Street and the south trail end of the Chief Sealth Trail.
How to borrow
- View the list of what supplies and equipment we have in our library. Supplies and equipment can be checked out for one week at a time. If more time is needed, you can request an extension for one more week (for a total of two weeks maximum at one time).
- To reserve an item, fill out our Juneau Street Resilience Pod Supply Library form and submit your information. Your request will be reviewed and you will get a response within a week. We will send back an email to schedule a pick-up time.
Because of the lead time, be sure to send in your request at least a week before you need the item.
- Meet us to pick up your item at your scheduled time. During this time, you will sign a liability waiver and get some training on how to use the item as well as some safety tips (if applicable).
- Use the item for your allotted time and then return back to the library at the scheduled date and time. If you’d like a one-week extension, please email us at least 2-3 days before the item is due.
Donate an item!
We’d really appreciate any donations to our Supply Library. If you have something you’d like to share, we’d love to consider it!
Supply Library FAQ
What if I break something?
Please notify us as soon as you can if an item or item part breaks. If possible, we’d love it if you could replace the part or the item that broke. If it’s not possible, you may pay based on a sliding scale — whatever you can contribute.
Do you offer courses to learn about more about the supplies or equipment?
We do not offer courses at this time.
Is there a workshop to build or make things?
We do not have a workshop at this time.
I’ve never used a certain item before; I’m concerned about safety.
We’ll do our best to share with you safety issues to look for when using a particular item, however because we are volunteer-run, we’re limited in our capacity when it comes to safety training and are not liable for injuries when supplies are not in our possession. When you come to pick up the item, Nancy will give you a short demonstration of how it works and safety issues to look out for. We recommend recording this session on your phone so you can refer back to it. You will also sign a waiver form.
How long can I borrow an item for?
You’ve got it for one week, and if there’s no waitlist, you’re welcome to extend for another week — just give us a heads-up 2–3 days before it’s due!
What if I need an extension when borrowing an item?

I want to donate some supplies and/or equipment. How can I?
